Ogg files have high pitched squeal
Hello, I'm using an X5 with 2003, and I've used the latest versions of GSplayer (1.98) and the trial version of PocketMusic 3.0. I have some 44.1Khz Mono spoken word files that are in Ogg format. They sound great on a PC (Windows XP, media player with Ogg Directsound plugins), but on the PocketPC they have high pitched noises in the background, usually in short "windows" around phrases (I'm learning Japanese). This is very distracting.
Mp3's play fine, as do WMA files of different encoded bitrates and mono versus stereo. Has anyone else experienced this ?

Do a quick search about it and you'll find that it is the Axim itself. I think there was a thread entitled "Thinking of using your axim like an Ipod" or something like that.
Regardless, it is a design flaw with the X3.
