encoding with divx 5.0.x or pocketdivx encoder??

going to try tonight but which one works better for putting movies on my ax x5 and playing them using betaplayer??

I've been using the PocketDivxEncoder for a while now, and it's pretty sweet. Can't say much about divx 5.0 since I haven't get the chance to use it, but I guess either way should be okay...

alright thanks

got my 256 meg card...going to encode a tv show for tmrw, is there any instructions on how to set up the settings in pocket divx???

It's all pretty intuitive - select the input file, and just with the default options you'll get something half reasonable i'm sure i tend to up the audio bitrate a good chunk, but i'm a quality nut

for betaplayer, if you open up the advanced tab in pocket divx encoder and check the xvid and b-frames boxes you'll get better quality for a given bitrate.

ogm also gives better quality audio, but at the cost of slower encoding time apparently (i've not done extensive tests tbh on that front).
