Best way to resize large Divx movies to PPC format?

Hi I have a few Divx movies that I made a while back and was wondering what the best (and easiest) method is to simply resize and/or convert these movies, so they can be played on an Axim X30. The movies are already in Divx format, so I am assuming the only thing that I would need to do is resize the resolution of the video and also lower the frame rate of the video. I heard pocket divx encoder is good, but isn't this application just for movies that are not already in divx format? Is it ok to use it on movies that are already in divx format? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the link (I'm at work right now), but there is a freeware app called PocketDivxEncoder available. Search this site for info and links.

It's a great conversion app and very fast compared to others. It specifically formats to standard Pocket sizes.

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply, but that program was part of my initial question. Can Pocket Divx Encoder be used to shrink files that are already in DIVX format to begin with? Or is it only used to shrink files that need to be converted to DIVX? Please advise.

^^yes, you just reduce the video and audio bitrate.
