Streaming audio on an X5
I was trying to listen to streaming audio with windows media player on my X5, but couldn't get it to work. It works with Windows Media 9 on my notebook.

The site is http://bluegrassradio.org. (I'm a banjo addict). The streaming link is http://rs7.radiostreamer.com/BluegrassRadio.

When I browse to the link, IE asks if I want to download the file, but doesn't connect. I tried entering the link directly to the Media player, but it didn't seem to like it.

well I figured it out. As usual I was missing something simple :-(.

In the tools menu of mediaplayer there is an open url item.

I don't know why I couldn't browse to it from internet explorer though.
