Cd to WMV
I can't appreciate most of the current day music. I have some Boston, Chicago, Kansas, Pink Floyd CD's and I'd like to load some of my favorite tracks to my Axim X5. Anyone able to tell me how to do this? Also, do I load them to a CF card or SD?

Thanks..........

What you need to do is get them on your PC using a player that can rip cd's such as http://www.musicmatch.com/ Then after you get the tracks you want on your Hard drive you can then copy them to your SD or CF card via ActiveSync.

An alternative, if you prefer wma over mp3 and without the annoying hooplah associated with the jukebox.

Although WMA is a decent format, I convert all my music to MP3. This is because I purchased an iPod a few months ago, and if I want the song to be compatible with both the PDA and the iPod I need an MP3. There are tons of great CD rippers that output in MP3; my favorite is EAC (Exact Audio Copy) with the LAME codec. iTunes also has a decent ripper that allows you to output to MP3 (or ACC which I don't use for the same reason I avoid WMA). I recommend encoding your songs in at least 160 kbps (if not 192), but if space is an issue 128 is decent.
