Conflicts with Multimedia Software - Help

I received my new Axim X30H w/Windows 2003 SE, version A02. I have several capabilities I want and there is great software for mobile working. The problem: I have spent hours trying to come up with a configuration that avoids conflicts. I have downloaded Pocket TV, have Rescoe Pic Viewer, and of course WM9. Problem is that when I load my favorite music notation program which requires installation of PocketC or my favorite calculator (CoolCalc)....something disables the video playing capability of my video playing tools--even when nothing else is running. It seems obvious that some file is overwritten or added that just conflicts. I had the same problem with my 'reader' program....disables the ability to play video. Have done soft resets...no solution. Have done several hard resets and tried different orders for software installation. Anyone have any ideas? or experience.
