Anyone know where I can get some skins for Windows Media Player for the ax?

yeah, me too, i would like to get one with really big play, next track, previous, and stop buttons, bc i want to be able to use it in my car with a mount..

You can get them somewhere on the microsoft site. i used to have them for my iPAQ. i cant seem to find them there now...i may have them on a cd...tell me if you want me to look and email them to you if i still have them. i know i had some cool xbox themes, an orange theme, and an ice theme that looked good

yeah it does, just not in standard view, map a button for 'full screen toggle' and then push it and you can view it in widescreen...works great for me

BIG BUTTONS!

I've lurked for awhile and this is my first post. Just got an X-30 and couldn't be happier.

I'm replacing my single purpose MP3 player with the Axim when I'm riding the motorcycle, and I'd like a skin with big buttons so I can skip sons or adjust volume while I'm riding. Something like this would be suitable, but I can't find it and WMP didn't come with it:

Searched the MS site, and couldn't even find WMP9 to download for the PPC, though they list every other imaginable platform. I've got the skin switcher, but it mocks me because there don't appear to be any other skins installed, by starting and then stopping itself.

Oh, I've also googled every combination of "skins" and "Pocket PC" and "WMP" and "Windows Media Player". Gotta wade through a lot of irrelevant stuff to not find anything resembling what I'm looking for.

It looks like many of us are in the same boat. I, too, would like RFB buttons so that I can control mp3 in my car, despite all the warnings about it from 40th Floor. Check my other thread here to see if anybody out there is making stuff for pocketpc like over at mp3car.com

The link on MS's site for their WMP moble skins did sort of disappear for a while during the "build-up" to WMP10. I was looking for it for a while myself. Had downloaded some of the skins at one point, then by the time I'd gotten back around to downloading the rest of them, the link had gone into limbo.

But it's back now. Just go here. The page includes a selection of skins with video support, and audio-only skins that should work as far back as WMP mobile 7. I'm using Tech Orange right now personally.

I downloaded those and can't get them to open. Any ideas?
