Windows Media Error - no skin files
I can't get Windows media running on my new Axim. It appears to be installed but pops up an error message when I try to run it :"There are no skin files present on your device. Either reinstall WMP or go to http://www.microsoft.com for more skins."

I've tried reinstalling to no avail and I can't find anything that looks like a basic, simple default skin file either on the CD-ROM or the website.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you install the "upgrade" from Microsofts site? If so you'll have to perform a hard reset. The software on the Axim is more up to date than that on Microsofts site.

Exactly! I discovered this from another thread after posting my plea for help.

I did a hard reset and all is well.

Thanks very much for the advice.
