Question Player with NSV (Winamp Video Stream) Support
Hi all, it's my first post in this great community!

I'm looking for a Media Player for Nullsoft Streaming Video protocol (NSV). NSV is OpenSource, so i think there must be an Player for this format on Pocket PC!

I'd like something like that too, similar to WinAmp on the PC.

curious that nullsoft, developer of winamp, wouldn't provide this for the ppc. gsplayer or betaplayer??

Does Gsplayer have an interface with a listing of streaming content like Winamp does?

And I just checked Nullsoft's WinAmp site... no PPC version.

Nope, just downloaded and installed GSPlayer... there's no list of streaming content or anything.

You can listen to streamed radio via gsplayer using www.shoutcast.com -- just make sure gsplayer is the default player for .pls files and you're set. I still haven't found a way to watch the .nsv internet tv channels that winamp for PC lists, though.

I just started streaming from Shoutcast using GSPlayer. No problems there so far but I was wondering if there was a site like Shoutcast that allows one to stream uninterrupted US internet TV? Anyone?

I got some NSV formated streams to play using vlc. The stream breaks up a little but it is a start. Use this url to play the Family Guy e1.

BetaPlayer will do this with PLS files from Shoutcast.
