watching movies on axim

is there anyone out there that can help me with watching movies on my ax?

1) are there any good websites that i can download movies from(e.g. kazaa or similar)?? can these movies be transferred to the ax??

2) is there any format i would need to transfer to my ax??

3) what is the best ppc player to watch movies on??

4) is there a ppc player that automatically compresses video files in order to save space??

pocketmovies.net is a good site for clips

The only way I've got videos to work is to download the windows media encoder. It encodes certain AVIs and MPEGs to WMV, which can be viewed in the Windows Media Player on your Axim. It cuts the file size down considerably. I've encoded a 203 MB video into a 20 MB file, which was fine for viewing on the Axim.

Pocket MVP is awsome, I use Virtual Dub
to convert my movies into a nice format/size
for my axim, I do rotation in Virtual
dub, so wide screen movies look great
landscaped... I have a full movie
down to 150 MB and still looks and
sounds good.. i use a 256 MB Sd
card to store them... I have tried
watching them over a wireless network
but that didnt workout... movie kept freezing..

Is this windows media encoder already part of Media Player 9?

LINK to download wm encoder. it works great but it seems the wmp is a little choppy for watching movies. i would use virtual dub instead, and also use pocketmvp to play them on your axim. IMO it is better.
