Converting avi's to properly fit on Axim

Is there a simple way of converting a avi file to properly fit on my ppc?? I've ripped dvds to avi without a problem. I've never tried converting a movie file. Any simple solution?

Thanks much.

PocketDivXEncoder will handle any AVI conversion incredibly easy. Screen rotation and Also has DivX/xvid/ogg output and 2 pass encoding.

I always encode: 2 pass at 320x240 at the lowest setting (0) and 22khz mono sound (1). I love it! 44 min MacGyver episodes are only about 36 MBs! Not too shabby considering they were 350MBs!!!
