No Sound When Using Windows Media Enc

Sorry to bug anyone if this has been answered already. When I convert .avi or .mpg to .wmv using WME I get no sound when I play it in my axim using WMP.

i've done this and it works fine... you have to make sure you use the proper output profile: Video for color PDA devices 225kbps.

i've converted MPG, MPG2 (SVCD format) and AVI...
now, I have not tried converting DIVx formatted MPG2 and AVI files... that may be the problem you are running into.

WME is pretty good about barking at you if there is a problem with the video or audio portion of the file.

when you use windows media encoder, use the pocket pc profile, then choose what screen size you want, then under audio make sure you pick voice quality, not cd quality. that should fix it.
