I place my flash movies (.SWF and html file that references the .SWF file) into a FLASH folder on my CF card. then i just use PIE (pocket internet explorer) to open the html file in the flash folder. flash is a little tricky and not all flash files will run smoothly on the pocket pc, especially if they weren't developed for pocket pcs in mind. for more info you can hit:

Arrow HTML file

usually it's part of the page the SWF file is located on... all you really have to do is either view source and save that to its own html page or save the entire page as a html page and edit the directory reference to the SWF file to local (so the SWF and HTML file are in the same directory)

there isn't a standalone flash player for the pocket pc ( i blieve there is one for sony series: http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mob..._clie_6.0.html)

so you ahve to this:
1. create a directory on your CF or local pda memory called myFlash (or whatever)
2. dump your SWF and HTML files into a subfolder like (thisFlashGame)
3. access the HTML file using PIE from that folder.

you can try a test example here:
http://www.mobile-flash.biz/wine/

save source and find the swf file in your cache or just save the enitre site and copy the folder over to your pocket pc flash folder.

there are some people working with third party c++ programs that wrap around swf files and make then standard runtime .cab files for the pocket pc but they are slightly cost prohibitive for your average joe -

Cool

yes, royal pain in the rear... but worth it for the flash files you may want to run locally.

on the sony side of things they have a seperate built in application that allows for any SWF file to be loaded and played from a particular flash folder without the use of any PIE/html file...

not sure why the flash or microsoft team hasn't done that yet for the pocket pc folks.

any developers smarter then me able to throw that together in a spare weekend? (hehe)

yes, i'm familiar with the plugin... i'm refering to a dedicated standalone player. so you don't have to go through PIE to play flash files. the sony pdas have this sort of thing you click on the SWF file you want to play and it runs it - no need for a seperate HTML file...
