Pocket Music problems?
I'm not sure if this is a problem or if it is a limitation of the "free" version of Pocket Music.
I have about 30 MP3s on m CF card...When I load all 30 songs with Pocket Music, it only plays 8 of them...the same 8 all the time. I also noticed that in the playlist, those 8 songs are the only ones with the time of the song displayed.
Anyone else have this problem?

I had a similar problem. I had several MP3s that PocketMusic would not play (I had acquired them from various sources). Like you, they showed up in the playlist, but had no time associated with them.
I know there are various "flavors" of MP3. I was under the impression that PocketMusic would read/play more of these than WMP. However, they would play fine using WMP. To solve the problem I simply re-encoded the MP3s using a MP3 encoder/converter and now they play fine.

I haven't noticedthis problem, but I did rip all of my current songs from my own CDs with my own software... so I didn't have that variety problem.

Thanks guys...I thought as much. All the MP3s were downloaded from various sites like WinMX, Kazaa, or Napster (when it was still "open").
pmoto,
I'll try your suggestion and see if it works for me

Ah....a fellow Green Lantern!
It's possible that whatever encoder your source used did it in such a way that the player can't deal with them. Check and see if they work with WMP or something......sometimes WMP won't do them either, and just skip them in the playlist.
I ran into this problem with pocketDivx and files that were created by MusicMatch Jukebox (supposedly, though the MP3's I created with MMJB did not exhibit the problem).

Well I re-encoded my MP3s using a program called Goldwave...excellent product by the way, and it worked...thanks to all.
BTW, WindWalker, the MP3 files played flawlessly on WMP before I re-encoded them. Only PocketMusic was giving me troubles.

Musicmatch jukebox
I have musicmatch jukebox and when I go to transfer my playlist to Axim it will not let me go to sd card or CF card , the program does not see these cards , anyone know of any solutions, I like musicmatch but I guess I will have to use Windows Media Player, because it works:rolling:

You'll have to save it on your desktop first and then transfer it using explorer. I think it's because activesync sits in between your ax and your pc (unlike a mapped network drive for example) so alot of software won't see the ax directly.
