The X30 High is the exact same as the low-end model X50, except for the VGA screen and the screen size (and a few other minor differences). Just get an X30 High and use the left over money to buy some other stuff for it.

"battery and VGA support
Okay, yes the X50 is an impressive piece of equipment, but I just have two complaints. First, the battery, this is a common ploy by Dell (as we saw with the X30 having a sub-1000 mAh battery standard). Who thinks an 1100 mAh battery is good for a 600+ MHz, VGA device? Come on, my rx3115 comes standard with a 1440 mAh battery which gets it through one day of heavy use with WiFi active, this Dell is going to stink at battery life. Once you upgrade the battery to acceptable you eliminate the price advantage that Dell enjoys over HP.
Second, while VGA is cool and techie, I don't see a need for it until WM supports it fully. I don't want a hack to fully utilize the hardware, I want it hard coded in the OS (if you want a hack just get an old Toshiba 800 for a lot cheaper). Let us not fool ourselves, when WM does fully support VGA (probably WM 2005) than we will all have to purchase new handhelds because none of the manufactureres will offer upgrade ROMs (lest we forget the WM2002 to WM2003 or the WM2003 to WM2003SE debacles).
One solution would be to get somebody to port the Linux OS to these new VGA handhelds and really utilize the hardware for what it is"
That's what Foxfire had to say about it and basically I agree.

Oyah, I also like to have a CF slot. I feel quite "handicapt" when I do not have it.
