Converting videos for PPC

I like to watch movies on my x5 when i travel, and used to use Stoik Video Converter to change the compression and resolution of movies so they could fit in about 100mb. I am not ripping DVD's, mind you, but converting files already on my hard drive. However, Stoik has simply not worked in quite a long time, and I have not been able to find any other programs that will let me change the resolution of videos while I am converting them, so I figured i would see what members of the community use if and when they want to watch videos on their axim.

I watch videos, but I do not change the resolution of them. I either rip DVDs using DVD to PPC or I record TV shows and movies using a Hauppauge external TV tuner and the program "Beyond TV 3". It uses something called "show squeeze" to compress the size of the files. Sorry, but I do not know of a program that does what you want it to.

I would suggest VirtualDub and convert your files to divx since you already have them on your hard drive. Heres a step by step guide BigDsVideo
