I finally got Midi's to work on my axim x30!
I followed the instructions here

But this alone would only play pla midi's with no sound. How I got sound to work with gsplayer, i downloaded this...

Intelliart midi player.
I installed it and my midi's worked.
If you use the intelliart program, it bugs you to buy it.
If you run Gs player, U dont get the annoying message.
You also get sound on the SNESEmulator!!!! Only tested with FF3 but it works.

One problem is that intelliart player is 15 day shareware, I dont know if the sound will still work on gsplayer or morphgear once this program expires.

Edit: you might not need to follow all the instructions on top.
You may be able to get away with just installing gs midi player and the intelliart player.

Sorry, but GSPlayer/MIDI works just fine. You need to install a sample set for the sounds and configure the timidity.cfg file in order to get sounds.

Does this sound set come with Midinote?

What do i have to change in the cfg file to get it to work?

The way i got it to work is install gsplayer and intelliart player and the midi's work when b4, with just the gs player, no sounds work.
