Ipod skin or interface...

I was wondering if there is any music player, or skin for WMP or something that makes the screen look like the iopd, with the round dial and all..anyone seen one? If u can i have it please :)

Great Dude! would you mind sharing?? I've been looking for one too... and btw... how does one change the skin in WMP10?? I can't seem to suceed!!!!

I found a freeware skin that resembles the iPod interface, it's called the uPod! Here's the link:

Copy the extracted files to Built-In storage on the PPC, so that WMP can recognize and auto-import the skin
About changing skins, I have Pocket Windows Media Player 10 installed, and you need to click Tools>Options at the bottom of the screen, then scroll to the right to Skins, then cycle through the skins available and then hit OK to implement the changes.

I dont like ipods themselvees, but I like the interface, if someone would write a music player program that had the same interface I would download it, even buy it if it was goood enough

Yeah. Makes sense when you have one of the best interfaces ever created...

Oh well..

I have the uPod skin. It's ok but I can't stand WMP anyway.

Ok... I am getting really annoyed now...
First of all thanks to all those who post skins and explain how to change them.

I HATE WMP10... WMP9 was much better.
Apart from the fact that on version 10 you have to control the VOLUME at 5% at a time... THAT IS RIDICOULouS!!!!!

Plus no matter WHERE I put the SKINS, everytime I go to OPTIONS and scroll to SKINS that PREV and NEXT button are ALWAYS blank... like there aren't any skins available... I've got skins EVERYWHERE in my PDA now to try and make it work, and it still doesn't!! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Ok... I feel a bit better now.
Can someone tell me exactly what I need to do?
I would like to know the following:

-What extension does a WMP10 skin have
-How many files is it normally made of
-WHERE exactly do I put these files

Thanks in advance to anyone for their help. Sorry about the screaming... it's just getting really frustrating!

hey, just letting you know, if you hold the up button on your directional pad, it will make the volume go up or down fast :approve:

That's a great tip... but still the SKIN dilemma remains...

if you want your skin to work save it in your pocket pc documents. Dont save it in the Windows Media Player folder.

I experienced the same problem.
