playing mp3s from desktop on axim wirelessly

Hello,
i did a search and didn't find an exact answer to my problem. what i would like to do is play the mp3 files stored on my desktop on my axim x50 wirelessly w/out storing them on my axim. what i have done so far is mapped a drive via resco file explorer to my mp3s on the dekstop. i can see them all via my axim. when i click on one (any one)it will not play in wmp (the error says the file is corrupt or not a supported format). so i have associated the mp3s with beta player and i can play any single file one at a time, but i cannot (as far as i can figure) create a playlist. i would like to queue up a number of songs and set the axim to the side and just listen rather than wait until one song ends and select another and so on. anyone found a way to do this. and why won't wmp play the mp3s, i thought wmp 10 was able to play mp3 files?
thanks for the help,
saecrow

I play single mp3 files from my desktop on Axim X50v around the house using Resco Explorer. It plays both ripped mp3s and purchased downloaded mp3s.

I have not tried queing but will have a look when I get time.

that would be awesome, thanks! i am able to play files one at a time, but i sure would love to just be able to pick a bunch of mp3s and let it roll.
are you able to get them to play in wmp by browsing through resco? if so, how? if i associate mp3s with wmp i always receive the error message in my original post.
thanks for replying!
