yes, it has arrived. with out an actual device it would be impossible to write a stable 2700g video decoding player.

Flat out awsome. This thing runs smooth as silk now. The only problem im having now is buffering issues but i think its just because im trying to stream to large and highquality files from my pc. Most that had to buffer a lot before dont now. Ill post up some Benchmarks when i get time. All i need now is $ for a 1gb SD card. What brand do you recomend? Or heck just what chip period

CF Cards can be a lot slower, even if they are rated "Ultra" speed, etc, because CF slots uses a separate controller; while SD Cards' controller on the device is within the CPU itself.

by the way picard, just wondering if it is possible to make the zoom settings for the player a variable? (meaning, is it possible for us to put in a specified zoom level, as integer/float?)

I know it might be limited by hard codes, but i don't think it is in this case since the player has "fit screen/width/height" which does calculation on-the-fly.

Just wondering ;)

You did not change the Video to Intel 2700G Decoder.

you can assign buttons for zoom in and zoom out. but you are right, i will add a zoom factor(%) editbox to the settings dialog in the next version.

Fantastic job Picard! Thanks for all your hard work! I am truly impressed with your GAPI hack and the betaplayer 2700g support in such short time after the device is released.

Question. I just played the animatrix and it streams/plays part 1 fine, but i go into part 2 (the second renasance) and it starts buffering like mad. Do videos constantly change the ammount of data its moving depending on the scene? I wouldnt think it would need it since this isnt as intense as some of the scenes in part 1. Also im not sure if its a network issue or not but ill be watching a video and for no reason it just stops. doesnt buffer or anything. I have to stop the video and start again and search to where it stopped. it will continue again for a bit but seams to do this on and off. No idea whats causing it.. bizzar..

(ok new info. I think whats causing it to completely stop is my mom talking on the phone. It got the same frequency... Hm)

How about VGA-out displaying on an external monitor with this 2700G-enabled BetaPlayer?
