So hey everyone ... I'm confused to death. :) I've been following this thread over time, but all I have is this question: does the current 0.96 download on Picard's site include the Intel 2700G optimized drivers or not?
Also, is there any other software which is optimized for the Intel 2700G?
I'm getting my Axim this week, so wanted to get some info before it comes in, hehe.
Cheers,
-pN
There is actually a few programs that are optimized for the Intel 2700 and the really good ones are in my review on the Morphgear Site: http://www.spicypixel.com/confluence...DELL+Axim+x50v
You'll greatly enjoy getting the Axim X50v and if you need any help with somewhat "perfecting" it, don't hesitate to instant message me :approve:!

I have just a litle question, the 0095 intel 2700g plugin can be used over a 0096 betaplayer installation? or, as posted above, is included on the single 0096 package?
I read in another post this is supended the 2700g tests by license issues.

Wait if 0.5 was released after 0.96 then does that mean that the 2700G plugin is also included with the install? Anyway It's the first time I've posted on this thread, I just want to give my thanks to those who developed Betaplayer. It is an incredible program. I love it on my X50v, and my brother, who also has an X50v agrees in full. :)

Actually, the numbering is logical, .5 is a higher number (ie: more recent) than .096, which is the correct unstable version number, not .96.
Yes, the plugin iis included in 0.5 no need to install it seperately.

Almost. 0.50b is the latest UNSTABLE version. Don't let that UNSTABLE throw you. Every UNSTABLE version I've used has worked fine. All UNSTABLE means in this context is that new features have been added and haven't been fully tested yet. Every release STABLE and UNSTABLE since 0.096 has the 2700g plugin builtin to the program. so there is no plugin needed for 2700g support.

I am using version .66 and it works awesome on my mpg's. I had issues with my SD card and had to re-download beta player and thought that was what I was doing. So apparently there is another video player not unlike Picards Beta Player. Is that right?

TCPMP is the new name of Picards Beta Player.
By the way, PocketTV Classic (freeware) also takes advantage of the Intel 2700G hardware video accelerator, so it has similar performances on the x50v when playing mpg files.
