PVPs any good???

I switched to a PPC from a Palm a year ago b/c of the ability to watch movies and listen to audio. I have converted DVDs that I own to .wmv or .avi files that I can watch on my PPC.

I now saw the new 20 gb PVPs (i.e., Samsung, Archos, etc.) at Best Buy and I'm wondering if anyone has used these and what are your opinions on them. The screens look a little larger and I can recompress my movies to bigger file sizes due to the HD on these machines. The samples on the PVPs looked great.

If you have a PPC with a CF slot, you can get 5GB microdrives that can store your movies.

Stay with a PPC because they are far more versatile than a PVP.
