Anyone using this software? I downloaded it and attempted to use it and can't get it to work. I contacted the developer several days ago to no avail.

When I installed it on my PC, I had a Windows 32 DLL error that said something about Write. After retrying, I chose skip. It took me to the site to get updates. There I re-downloaded the whole version and its updates. I did not get the error message.

When I tried to use it, it looked fine. Seemed to be recording fine. But it hung up my CF reader/writer. I was not using the axim as others reported write problems, instead I was using my Sony built in Studio.

Any ideas?

i use the pocket dvd studio software. when i first got it it worked great. then i upgraded to newest version. it would not work. it acted like it was recording the dvd but then when it was finished it was a file of only 32kb's. i sent an email to support last week but never heard anything from them. i saw on their website that if you are having problems with current version then download the 1.2.6 version. i did and it works great. try that.here is the link: http://www.pqdvd.com/download/
version 1.2.6 is toward middle of page. hope it works for you. did the job for me with m=no problems. let us know what happens.

by the way, i had the same error when installing the newest version.

Dont know what to tell you. ive used an older version and have recently upgraded to the latest version with no installation problems on any version...program works great.

A Windows 32 DLL error may be the result of a corrupt file. Try downloading the program again and re-installing. Make sure to first uninstall any previous versions of the software before re-installing the new one.

I've downloaded the older version. I'll now try it and see what happens.

I chose the option to download the AVI player. I haven't yet installed it on the x50v. Do I need to do that?

yes, oyu need to install the player on yuour x50v.i used the beta player and it works great.
