Big Smile Free classic public domain feature films and shorts!

I am currently downloading a few, so I have no idea of the quality. But free is great! :approve:

EDIT: Sorry guys, correct URL added.

They're high quality for the most part. I like the classic TV commercials myself.

Is that the Prelinger Archive? Your links not working for me.

I tried the below link in IE, and it didn't work.

I tried the same link in FireFox, and it worked fine.

http://classic%20public%20domain%20f...0and%20shorts/

You can also view the movies in QuickTime via streaming. The movies play immediately.

I did verify. And the Prelinger Archive link is the same as the link in the 1st post.

Going there for purient material is a disappointment. The TV commercials are sexier. ;)

Sorry guys about the bad link. It's been fixed but I see you figured it all out without me anyway!

The 256KMPEG-4 versions work great in BetaPlayer 0.95 Unstable. When I tried a short that was just mp4 the video played but no sound.

I just tried mummy_strikes_256kb.mp4 with BetaPlayer 0.95 and it locks up my x50v. Have to soft reset.

What movie did you DL and have work?

Goody, some mp4 samples :)

Uninstall the AACFull plugin (audio should still work with the builtin AAC LC profile only decoder). I'll checkout why it crashes.

I went with the Brain_That_Wouldn't_Die_256kb.mp4. Video played flawlessly, but the sound was out of sync by almost a second. I'm afraid that I'm pretty clueless about all the settings on BetaPlayer, so maybe it was my fault!

It's most likely BetaPlayer's fault (I had just a few mp4 files to test earlier). I will check it out.

I experienced this sound lag also.
