Help!

Hello,

I am getting a Dell Axim for Christmas this year. One thing that I will be interested in is putting music mp3 files on it. I know that since the Axim has a windows media player on it that it can play mp3s/wavs whatever. I was wondering where I can find the music files that I can put on it. I don't know if this makes any sense. Ah! Can anyone help?

thanks

Most people make thier own using their CD collection and a program like dB Power Amp or WMP to do the encoding to MP3.

Edit: WMP = Windows Media Player

I found a good site iRadio, and was wondering how I would make jazz MP3's from that site. Once I save the songs (do I use some media to save them first) how do I get them in the Axim. (a axim x30)

There are two ways to transfer music to your PDA. If you are running windows media player you can use the "Sync Device" tab and just select the playlist you want to sync and it will copy the files across for you. Alternatively you can copy manually using windows explorer by selecting "Mobile Device" -> "My Pocket PC" -> The directory call "SD Card" is your SD memory card where you will most likely want to put you music after creating a directory for it. You can then use your favorate player to play the MP3s or whatever they are you have.

Cheers
Adrian

There is a third and even faster way. Buy a USB card reader and transfer the songs directly from your hard drive to the SD card. Using a card reader is MUCH faster.
