wmp10 does not go forward while playing

Whenever I'm listening to a tune with the new wmp10, I cannot go forward while playing. I can only skip the song.

Use the d-pads to Fast-Forwad and Rewind. Hold Right is Fast Forward. Hold left is Rewind.

The d-pads are the hardware buttons? They don't work either except stop or continue. Fast forward and rewind are effectless.
Strange. Because I didn't change any options in the menu (allocation of buttons).
The slide of the player can be moved by the pen but it does not maintain its position as I said before.
Anyway thank you so much

Happy new year

The d-pad or directional pad is the oval in the middle. Holding down left and right are the default button assignments for fast forward and rewind, you do not have to assign or program the d-pad to do this. If you do not hold it down Right is next track and left is previous track.

What exactly is it you wish to do tolip? Perhaps another program can do what you want.

Thank you "don't panic" for standing me by so long. I'm afraid the d-pad of mine does not entirely do what it is supposed to do. Both fast forward and rewind are simply omitted by the d-pad as well as by the software slider. Must be a glitch in the german software. Of course, I can fall back on GS Player which proved to be flawless and faithful at all times. Still I'm curious why the wmp10 is messing around with me.

Happy new year
