Is there a good program to convert various movie formats to WMV's

Free is good...

Also...

Does anyone know what software to use to "stich" (is that the right word?)
multi-part WMV's together?

Check out this website. They have all kinds of tutorials, software, etc on conversion, editing, the list goes on and on. Great website for anything video related.

Windows Media Encoder is supposed to convert many different file types to WMV, and it's free from Microsoft's website.

or
www.doom9.net


would sugest using pocket divx instead... and www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia... provides the wmv encoder for free.
