well, now another problem, but not really axim related..
i used the same instructions (the guidelines from pocketmatrix actually, to rip the DVDs and i reencoded the file so i could keep a nice quality version on my computer. now. the file ended up being2.5 gigs, which isnt a problem. what seems to be a problem is that i can't seek ahead using windows media player either. some kind of error occurs and it tells me to close windows media player. any idea what might be going on? now i cant even seem to really open my encoded file using PMVP on my axim (the originaly 236 mb one...) like.. i open the file, and it just ends up somewhat crashing, giving me the bar on top with the title and not much else. if i hit the screen, the movie starts and i can hear sound but nothing changes on screen. if i turn my axim off and on again, it just freezes on my owner info screen. otherwise i have to do a complete soft reset. this is strange because just last night i was playing the video with no problems at all (though i didnt have a chance to check seeking capabilities) any idea whats wrong? its getting frustrating...

hm, nm about the axim problem, got that to play... still clueless about the other encoded file..
