X50v Video capabilities...
I want to be able to watch my avi, divx, mpeg files on a PDA and i was wondering if the extra money spent on the X50v is worth it?
How long does the battery last during video playback of lets say 20-40mins each episode? Besides the usual functions ill be doing with a PDA i want to be able to at least watch 4hours worth, or do i need to purchase an extra battery? Also, will you be able to watch video files in full screen landscape mode?

Welcome to Aximsite Evo_supra!
![]() Yes, you can watch these vids on the X50v. Check out BetaPlayer, which is the favorite app for watching vids around these parts! Four hours would probably be a stretch with the standard battery, so if you want more time, you probably need to buy the extended or a second standard battery. Unfortunately, most of the cases that are available now will not accommodate the extended. (Aside: Seems to me someone posted here a month or so ago that they got over 4 hours of vid watching by using their X50v on slower processor speed, but I can't seem to find that thread. Or maybe my memory is bad!) Yes, you can watch the vids in landscape, full-screen. It's great!!! (EDIT: Finally found the thread mentioned earlier http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=61083)
