Large Avi files won't strea, why?

I have done 3 movies at 640x480 and a few a bit less than that and they won't play. I do a 320x240 and it streams just fine. The bigger files play for abot 8 seconds than it stops and the hour glass comes up for a few seconds and starts to play again. Is it because the files are to big? They play fine in a sd card, the files are 800-900 MB each. Very good quality!

Thanks for any suggestions, this site is great!

640 x 480 resolution requires twice the bandwidth than 320 x 240 maybe your computer or wiFi router cant stream that fast what is your computers clock speed probably 3.0 gigherzt cpu minimum needed.
