questions about downloading movies
Can anybody tell me what the best software is to download dvd's to my ppc? I don't think I want to go the free route since I'm looking for the easiest and most painless. I've been thinking about either DVD-Studio or DVD to PocketPC. Has anybody had experience with these? I was also wondering how long each one takes to convert and then download to pda. DVD-Studio claims to be 300% faster then any other product. Another question was do I need to have a dvd drive? I have one on my laptop but not on my pc.

FairUse Wizard is the easiest and does not require two different programs to complete the process. Quite easy to use as well
The process can take about 2-3 hours depending on the length of the movie and if you use your computer while the software is running. I set it up to run and then go to bed. When I wake up, it is done. So a program that "claims" to be much faster does not have that much appeal to me. Yes, you do have to have a DVD drive. How else would your computer read the DVD? | ||||||||
