Full-Screen VGA output for Betaplayer?

Here's what I'd really like - would make Betaplayer a slam-dunk for purchase: an output option for my new X50V for full-screen VGA horizontal output (fill a regular screen). Currently, to watch movies on external screen (unless someone has a better trick?) I enable Mirror and then get a small box with the movie playing kind of mis-dimensioned in the middle of the screen.

Westtek's Clearvue Suite does a decent job of correct vga output for me on ppt (alas, no audio...) and I need some way of doing full-screen audio/video from my PPC. I've used Wondershare's powerpoint2dvd to convert ppt to dvd with a background audio track, then pocketdivxencoder to make an avi, and the quality in betaplayer is terrific, other than (for my purposes) the external screen output.

You have to switch to landscape mode (not BetaPlayer, but the OS itself). This problem is very common, I will add an auto landscape mode switching (or at least a warning) to BetaPalyer. btw if you switch to landscape mode you will see other applications in fullscreen as well.

very cool! i'll try that immediately. thanks for the heads-up - should have thought of that myself, and the embedded switch would probably be a great idea, as well as perhaps an embedded Mirror activation option...
