Viewing digital photos on my Ax

What am I missing? I followed the tuitorial above for putting other media on my Ax, but it seemed different. I went into my camera editing software, and did not see the "My device" icon under where to save the photos. There was a "pocket pc/my folders icon, but I do not want to save these in my Ax, just on the SD card. I have a 6 in one card reader. I saved the photos on my SD card, but is there a way to open them on my axim? Which program do I use to open them?

Thanks.

Frew Viewer

I can't help you with all of the issues becasue I don't have the same situation with the Media reader. However if you go this site (http://www.freewareppc.com) you will find tons of free Pocket PC software including a viewer.

I'll check it out. I was under the impression that the Axim comes with a program to view pictures. As you can tell, I am ignorant when it comes to this stuff. Thanks!!!!

Resco Picture viewer, came
free with our dells' (So I am
told) I just magically appeard
on my PDA after a hardreset
and mass re-install of all my
software...) Look on the CD
it may be on there.... It is the
best picture viewer I have seen...

Also using a external card
reader/writer is faster then writing
through the axim, but once you have
your SD card in your Axim all data
should be in a folder called "SD Card"
same goes true when connected to
the PC, save your pictures to your
harddrive then hit the explorer button
on Active Sync and drag the files over
where you want them on your PDA

Hope this helps...

Hmm Resco

I tried the Resco and am less than thrilled with it. I loaded it from the Dell install CD and when I did it stated it was a trial version.
The free viewer I downloaded is the PDAmill viewer v3.0 and it works very well. I am sure there are a number of other viewers out there to try.

I downloaded Resco, it seems to work okay for what I need it for. Hitting the explore button was the step I was missing. I think I have it figured out. Thanks everyone!!!!! I am continually amazed by the knowledge on this board. I just got a 256 MB CF card, my next task is to figure out how to compress a DVD on this card!!!

Thanks again
