DVD Not Ripping???

I've ripped all my DVDs using Smartripper prior to conversion to a PPC file for viewing on my Axim. I've never had a problem ripping DVDs till last night. A new DVD I bought (came out this week) went through the regular process but got stuck 2-3 minutes into the rippping process. I started over multiple times with the same result. I checked the DVD and since it's new, I didn't see any scratches or dirt that would stop the DVD drive from reading the data.

Anyone else experience this with brand-new DVDs?

Heck the newest release I've done was Matrix III. What's the name of this movie?

I often spend time on other forums, and I've seen that some of the newer movies like The Forgotten, Resident Evil 2, Friday Night Lights, are using a new encryption product. So maybe Smartripper cannot decrypt this movie. I understand that the newest DVD Decrypter (3.5.2) will do the trick.

I have ripped several movies I got for Christmas and bought using gift cards I gor for Christmas and have not had any problems doing so with either SmartRipper or FairUse Wizard.

Try this. Play a couple minutes of the movie in windows media player and then try ripping it.
