I'm a rookie poster, but I have been reading this board since I've gotten my Axim over a month ago. I appreciate everyone's insights; they've been more than useful so far.

Anyway, I'm looking to control my mp3's on my PC via my Axim using the program RemoteAmp, which I'm sure you are familiar with considering it was on the front page not too long ago. Anyway, I think I'm having a unique problem that is not allowing me to connect to my PC. I've set up the folders where I have my music located, etc. on my PC using RemoteAmp Server and it is showing the correct Server Name and Server Address.

But, for whatever reason, when I pick up my Axim and try to connect, it sits there and tries to connect for 5 minutes. I know it shouldn't take this long, so I must have some setting wrong somewhere along the way.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on here? It might be a setting on my network router or something else unrelated to RemoteAmp itself. Any ideas? I'm frustrated!
