Streaming Content - Offline?

I am looking for a program that will download streaming content like the weather channel and MSNBC news and save it to my 1Gig memory card for off line viewing (hopefully in full 16x9 VGA). I have a cable modem and a Wifi network in the house to sync. I think that Microsoft Snyc & Go can do this, but I believe this is only for channels that they have partnered with (ie very limited). Can somebody confirm this? Is Sync and Go any good? Are there any other programs out there that will let you save streaming video to a SD card for playback in WM10. I have an Axim X50v.

I am also looking for a better alternative for regular offline content than Avantgo. Avantgo has been failing to sync almost every time for me. I downloaded a trial copy of World Off Line, which is nice as you don't need a PC connection to sync any content. Are there other programs that are better before I pay for the full WOL copy?

Thanks

Have you tried to sync Avantgo seperate from activesync? Sounds like that program would suit what you are looking for.

How do you sync avantgo without activesync? Also, I don't think Avantgo has streaming video content, does it?

I have the similar question.

Now that Meet the Press is available online, is there anyway I can get it on my PDA? I would even accept the ability to stream it onto my Axim. But as of yet I have been unable to get it to work at all with my x50v.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This software will capture streaming video just like a VCR. Then all you have to do is copy it to a SD card. http://www.wmrecorder.com/ You may also be interested in our free streaming content over at www.ppcvidz.com such as The Week In Video from MSNBC. Just click on Streams in the left hand side of the page for lots of streaming content which can be viewed on your PC and is also PocketPC friendly. Just type www.ppcvidz.com in Pocket I.E.
