Using windows media encoder and instead of using the pocket pc codec, choose streaming media and then 148K. I encoded supertroopers from an 648mb avi to a 100mb wmv. Originally it was widescreen but it formatted it 4:3 and now it takes up the full screen which is a plus. That means its a little distorted, but nothing too bad and yes its somewhat pixelated, but for only being 100mb for a full movie its damn good. Plus I would have to imagine that a smaller file is going to equal more battery life. And having 9 full movies on my memory card is a lot more appealing than only 1. Of course this is only going to make you happy if you want quantity over quality.

thanks for the info i will have to try this out for myself. as of now. Ill let you know my relsults
I just encoded american pie 2 and it is 100 megabytes but it degrades sound quality a ton and and picture some, ill stick to the original 177 mb file that i thought was pretty good quality, thanks though!! JDH
I used it and lowered the video quality down to "0" in order for he final product to hit 100mb, but the file was corrupt or something. If I tried to even view the directory with the video in it, it froze up. I had to delete the video through command prompt just to get rid of it.
Tried it without selecting xvid and it worked. I upped the quality setting a little and got a file of 110mb. The file when compared to wmv showed almost no difference. It definitely was quicker converting with PocketDivxEncoder.
