Slow transfer speeds?
Does everyone else get super slow transfer speeds when syncing music to their axim without a media card reader? I have to use a media card reader because it takes almost an hour to put a cd on my axim. Is this because i have a USB 1.1 card? Would USB 2.0 fix this? Just need some help because I would like to transfer files without using my media card reader sometimes.

I had this problem with my 50V. Turns out, the cradle is USB 1.1 so its slower than using a card reader/writer. Second was that I was synching on battery with the processor set to autospeed (or whatever that option is called) so it wasn't operating a full speed. Lastly (if I recall), I had synch set to file conversion, which when combined with the slower processor speed really slowed it down.
When I can't go direct with card reader/writer, I now do all synching with the power cord plugged into the cradle to keep processing speed up, and turned conversion off. Nothing I can do about the cradle being USB 1.1 tho. | |||||

If you don't want to do it with a card reader you can use wifi. That'll be faster than the cradle.

It's not the USB type, it's the cradle/cable changing that USB type to serial that slows transfers down. That's a serial port on the bottom of your Axims not a USB port.
