Try built-in Media Player first:

Press "Home" button and look for "Windows Media", or just double-tap on .avi file.

If that does not work, you might need to install PocketDivX player:

I tried both the media player and DivX player and neither worked... :(

Windows Media player won't even allow me to open it.
DivX player says it's an unsupported format, even though it allows associations to AVI in its configuration...

You might need to download/install a specific codec for this particular movie file. Also, it might be an issue with File transfer - sorry if you already tried that, but you might just delete the file and transfer it again.

I'm sure both Divx and Media player are missing the code required because I just downloaded PictPocket Cinema http://www.digisoftdirect.com/Products/Pic...cketCinema.html and it worked like a charm! In fact one can view digital pictures on it and view AVI videos too... Very cool! B)

fozzy: congrats! :)

Whatever works... but later you will find another AVI file which would not show again. There are just too many of codecs these days. Codec is a small program which is shared between different players.
