I have a video (Ski Movie III: The Front Line) that is a .mov (what Quicktime uses) and I want to convert it to .avi. I have Windows Media Encoder, which does not work due to the format of it, and Pocket Divx which also doesn't work because of the .mov format. Is there any, free, program that will convert .mov to .avi??? Thanks...

Don't Panic!

Not that I'm aware off. The pay version of QuickTime will do it though. I'm thinking of getting it myself but it looks like you can only get it as an upgrade not a stand alone program. I need to transfer it to a computer without internet access.

I'm sorry but PocketDivx did do the job. It just didn't look like it was working but I let it run while I did something else and it worked fine...
