I have a ton of pictures I want to bring onto my Axim, but all of them are 1024x1024 (about), I was wondering if anyone knows of some batch program that will read a directory of files (JPG) and convert them to a size that is good for the Axim (320x240).

If you want to look at a lot of portraits, I would personally leave them at the higher resolution. Your viewer will fit to screen on the fly, and leaves you with the ability to zoom in to look at details and such.

Microsoft has a free program that will do this. I think you have to be running WinXP.

You can then select individual pics or whole directories and resize them. There is even an option for "handheld pc".
It works GREAT.
