Well I had to instal Pockt Tv to play mpg. files and Betaplayer stable to MPEG files.
Is there any player that plays the combination of files of both players??

That's odd, those are technically the same thing.

MOV's on an Axim

I really want a way (free way, that is) to play Quicktime .mov files on my Axim - whether it is a stand alone player or a way to convert them on my desktop...
BetaPlayer will play some MOV's. I have some that won't work, but it will work for the MOV's created by my digital camera, which is the main reason I wanted it.

How do I play it with the mobile media player?/
Thanks.
You can also try PocketTV Classic (freeware), available from www.pockettv.com .

If I download Beta Player and/or Pocket TV, can i still keep WMP? I'm a newbie and I at least know how to use WMP, but I can see that I would like a little more functionality.

Yes, you can still use WMP after downloading Betaplayer and/or PocketTV.

I'm sure it's all a matter of preference, but what do you suggest for a relatively intelligent, yet inexperienced, pda user who'd like to get some decent music functionality out of the x50v, but who doesn't need to be the sound mixer for a concert. (Well, you know what I mean.)

I'm pretty sure if you have quicktime or the quicktime codecs installed on your PC then pocketdixencoder should work.

Try PocketTV (free from www.pockettv.com ).

It might play some MPEG that Betaplayer will not play. Let us know if that's the case.
