Fairuse LE - Superb DVD conversion
Wow what a piece of freeware.

One app to convert a DVD to a file to play on my AXIM X50V.

Used OGM format (Ogg) and got great results. Whole movie in 350Mb! Superb picture and sound.

Now I want to see if I can squeeze 2 movies onto one 512Mb CF card.

I urge all those who enjoy FairUse to consider donating the $10 for lifetime upgrades of the full version. It's hard to find a better deal and it supports the maker of a slick piece of software!

It is a great program.

You should have no problem getting 2 movies on a 512 card. I encode my movies to 230MB and they still look great.

It's the best software I've found for VERY EASY conversion of a DVD to a customized size file that plays flawlessly in Betaplayer. A must for anyone with a PPC!!!

Does having a 800mhz IBM laptop running with window XP affect the Fairuse app? And I assume I must get the Beta player to play the file? Can't the window media 10 that comes with the X50v plays this file? I am very new to all this. Just bought a X50v but never use the PDA before. Much appreciate all your assistance.

The IBM should convert as long as you can read DVD disks, windows media player doesnt play much other than .wmv, you should get pocketTV, and beta player as well
