Anyway, I think the 242 MB mark for a two-hour movie at a 96kbps audio bit rate is a good place to start for most people. Just another two cents...
Take care,

Plus, once you convert using a higher file size, it will be even harder to reduce the file size without you remembering how things could be using a larger file size. Then, you will have to get a bigger memory card. :)
Thanks,
Lance

That does seem to be the problem. Once you go big it is hard to go back. Bigger is always better :) But I use it for ripping a movie when I travel. After I watch it I delete it. So I am fine with the 240MB or so file size. Rumor is if you do it around 700-800MB it is "near DVD".
Who knows, if I keep this up my 1GB card might not be enough! Time for the 4GB :)

I ended up getting a 2 GB CF card. I found a good deal on it. Check my site (see signature) for the details.
Thanks,
Lance

Sweet! I am still looking for the perfect deal on a 1GB CF card. But for now I am not short on memory. Yet! :)

PS - I really like the x50v site. I starting reading and before I knew it I had read 3 pages. Nice job! :approve:

Warning: OFF-TOPIC
Since I got the 2GB CF card, I have a spare 1GB CF card. I purchased it a month ago at Buy.com. Here is a link for details on the card. It is an good as new and has a lifetime warranty.
Lexar 1GB CF Card (40x)
If interested, email me with an offer (see link at top of my site).
Thanks,
Lance

Thanks, my Birthday is in 10 days and I have a feeling there might be one hidden somewhere in the house. :) Let me see how that turns out and I will let you know. That is the card I was looking at. Mostly because I like the Lexar brand. See ya~
