is there any good good video encoder thats freeware that can make the videos suitable to be played on an x30 and so that a 30min video will be less than 30mb?

also does pocket windows media player play .avi files? if not can u point me to a player that will? and fell free to add any other players you think are good...

I wish we had a .mov encoder and player. That 30 min 30MB file would look great then. Alas QuicktimePro is definitely not free or available as a seperate program it seems. I do my encoding on a machine without internet access.

Fairuse and betaplayer are the easiest free options so fasr. WMP10 for Pocket PC does not play .avi's.
