Will Extreme III SD cards be better for Video Playback?

I know that Extreme III's are great for camera's because of the read or write speeds, now i'm wondering is the extreme III's worth the extra money? Has anybody tried and is video playback skip free? See on my current sd card, for some reason it skips a frame forward once in a while, I wanted to know if a higher read or write speed card will take care of that problem. Any help would be great!

My understanding is the faster cards will only make a difference when transfering via a card reader. Not when using them in the Axim.
