Simple Question I Hope

I took a little movie on my Canon A60,transfered to computer desktop, transfered to sd card via card reader, put the sd card in my Axim X30h.I then fired up WMP and selected the card as the source but the movie didn't show up.Really new to this, any info would be helpfull. Thanks

Give BetaPlayer a try. Chances are WMP for Pocket PC doesn't handle the file format your Canon generates. You can get Beataplayer here, it's free.

You definitely need BetaPlayer. I just looked up the format your camera generates movies as AVI (Motion JPEG + Wave audio). BetaPlayer will play that file WMP for Pocket PC won't.

another possible solution: when you transfer the video, use WMP10 on your desktop.

click here and look at the section on syncing. when you sync, it compresses the mpeg files down to a small enough size, and it converts them to a format that WMP10 mobile can read.

also, are you accessing through your library? if you are, you may need to update it before it will find the new files.

if you need more info on how to do any of this, PM me or repond to this thread...
