Anyone,
I have been trying to copy DVDs down to my x50v. I have tried two programs (and multiple DVDs) and get the same result...good picture and no sound. I've tried a Dell laptop and VPR Matrix and get the same result. Any ideas where to look?

use "Fairuse Wizard" free and easy to use. Look if you have the audio codec installed or if it's even selected/configured, or try looking for something that says "audio stream"

I agree, FairUse is the best way to go. You can also check out a program called GSpot for your desktop. It will help show you what codecs you have and what ones you are in need of. Good luck~
