BetaPlayer problem
I have been following this forum for about 2 months now. I have seen all of the people saying how great BetaPlayer is and how bad Windows Media Player is. Well I have what must be a unique issue with BetaPlayer. I cannot use it, it is too loud. I listen to music mostly through headphones at my desk at work. I cannot turn BetaPlayer down to a comfortable level. I put all controls at the lowest level I can, one more click of any slide switch is off. It is still too loud, so I have to use Media Player. At least I can turn it down far enough to not cause nerve damage!

That's not unique. And it's easily solved. I of course never had the problem. I'll never understand how that happens.
I guess you'd like an answer too though. Okay Open BetaPlayer Click on Options, Click on Settings, Select the Advanced page, uncheck Use system volume. | |||||

O.K. I figured I would give Betaplayer another try. Reloaded it, unchecked use system volume........What did you just say? My ears are still ringing for it. It made no difference, I still cannot turn it down to a lower volume. I can see where this program could be nice. But unless someone can tell me how to fix this problem I cannot use it.

Well O.K. I'm stupid....I got it to work. So we will see if it is as good as everyone says. So since I am into posting stupid questions here is another. In Media player I can sort by artist/album/song and stuff like that. After a quick look I don't see that ability in Betaplayer. Is it there and where?
