Question Windows Media Player album art doesn't work!

ok..i know alot of people have asked this question, but none of them had the exact same problem that i'm having, so i'm trying this again:

1) i ripped some mp3s from cds i own.
2) i loaded them into WMP10 on my desktop.
3) i connected to the internet and downloaded album art.
4) i synced with my ppc.

no album art is displayed on my ppc! it works fine on my desktop... some folders have the .jpg file in them, others do not. none show album art. i tried using the default skin, same result.

does anyone know how to fix this? it's supposed to happen automatically, but it won't...

please !

update:

ok...TWO of my like 30 mp3s show the album art...

1) The Ramones - I wanna be sedated
This song was downloaed from iTunes, and the album art came up without me downloading it through WMP10 on my desktop.

2) Yellocard - Only One
This song was ripped from a CD that my boyfriend owns. I had to 'find information' to get the album art on my desktop.

When I get home from work, I'm going to try to find out what makes these 2 files different from all the others. I know the Ramones song has a .jpg in it's folder...i'm not sure about Yelloward.

If I figure this out, I'll update again...I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one with this problem!

I use MusicMatch Jukebox to rip MP3's and 40th Floor Iplay Client to play them. Every album I've done that I didn't have to fill in my own track info shows album art. There are no .jpg's in the folders. I wonder if the info is tagged with the songs when MusicMatch Jukebox encodes them. I think you might need to use WMP10 on your desktop to rip to .wma to get WMP10 on your Pocket PC to see the album art??? Just a guess, sounds like something microsoft would do.

i ripped all of my mp3s using musicmatch jukebox...the strange thing is, one of the ones that DOES work required me to download the art through wmp...i'm stumped...

I've got a used CD store right across the street, I bet they have a Ramones CD. I've got the "Rock and Roll High School" DVD but no CD's by them. I'll rip it aand see whats what.

Just checcking the WMP10 Help file I can see under What's New, Album Art, that "The art, if available is automatically copied to your Pocket PC when you synchronize with the latest desktop player." Sounds like you either transfer the music with WMP10 or no art for you!

If they have a Ramones CD I'll do a Screenshot of the Iplay Client with the cover.

Here is how i do mine.
1. Use a card reader to put all videos and mp3's onto your CF or SD card. Syncing takes forever.
2. On your SD or CF card make a "My Documents" folder.
3. Inside the "My Documents" folder you made make a "My Music" or "Video" folder.
4. When you put your mp3's in the "My Music" folder be sure to only put the album folder's only and not the folder with the artists name containing the albums. Example; say you have a Madonna folder, you only want to put the Madonna albums in the "My Music" folder not the folder containing the albums.

ENJOY ;)
